syllogisms
I have fond memories of syllogisms from a high school math class. Wikipedia has a nice & tiny example:
All men are mortal.
Socrates is a man.
Therefore, Socrates is mortal.
The Decision Lab has a nice page about syllogism.
Years ago I enjoyed Lewis Carroll's book Symbolic Logic.
It would be fun to write some recreational computer programs around syllogisms and talk about them in this post.
