AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) as hearing aids

Update 24 Sept 2026 -- I'm still happy with these AirPods I bought for $250 in December 2024. They help me in both quiet environments and in noisy restaurants.

I'm pleased to have a pair of AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) that I'm using as over the counter hearing aids. I don't have a lot of time in with them yet. There are lots of YouTube videos where people report about their experiences. Yay YouTube world!
